As I commented earlier today, Doc Searls piles on the Health meme with his call to action in "Making real health care happen." Then fellow Harvard associate, Dr. John Halmaka, CIO of the Harvard Medical School makes a pitch at the Red Hat Summit that Open Source is the way to solve the problems of the Health Care industry. John, Welcome to the Meme. This is going to be a fascinating ride.
The fragmented nature of the Health Care industry leads to massive inefficiencies. It will be a tough road if we are going to make change happen, but it is a road that we must take.
