Responsibility is being forced onto the patient. Medical professionals are still concerned about patient generated data and the reliability of that data.
My view is this: is one measure taken in an office setting more accurate and reliable than months of data collected by the patient.
I argue that even if the patient is not expert they will still be consistent in their method and the trend of many readings is ultimately more valuable than a single reading taken in what might be a stressful situation for the patient.
How do you ensure patients are trained to use Equipment reliably??? Have you heard of this thing called YouTube ???
