Our HealthCare Reform

In December Tom Daschle, who is leader of the President-elect's Health Transition Team, laid down a challenge to provide input to Health Care Reform. Over 4,200 have taken up the challenge, including the Philadelphia Congress of the National Congress of Black Women that is meeting on Monday December 29th. If you are in the Philadelphia area on Monday and are interested in the evolution of Health Care then I urge you to make it along to the event and add your voice to the discussion.

Tom Daschle set the deadline for providing input at December 31st, 2008. I see this deadline not as an end, but as a beginning. I certainly intend to continue these discussions on Health Care transformation throughout 2009 as part of the HealthCamp series of events.

We are on the brink of major change in Health Care. I believe this will create many new opportunities. Being a catalyst for change is part of the agenda for HealthCamp. I want to see entrepreneurs, developers and Health Care professional come together at HealthCamp and pursue ideas that will create the change we want to see in Health Care. Join us at a HealthCamp near you in 2009.
