Usability of the EHR

Bennett Lauber: usability is the new black.
We are finally getting traction in EHR usability.
Nurses will not adopt your application if usability sucks.

It is not the number of clicks it is the number of decisions you are asked to make.

Is it a click or a decision? Will cancel or ok do what I want????
You are making the user think about the interface and not the activity they are doing.

Sometimes there are too many clicks….
