Reports are coming in on Parallels Workstaion 2.1 Beta that provides Windows support on Intel-based Macs. While there are still a few rough edges, as you would expect in any beta product the initial reactions are very positive. The application performance is described as great with a Virtual Windows session outperforming a 2GHz windows machine when run on an iMac. Having experienced the galacial pace of Windows XP running under VirtualPC on a PowerBook I am looking forward to this technology maturing.
