Is Google Calendar really Beta

I thought that the Memorial weekend might be a good time to switch over from Exchange Calendars to Google's Calendar service. I log in to GMail and hit the calendar link and get one of those fairly rare occurences - a Google Error /calendar/render was not found on this server. There is obviously a difference between the beta level of gMail and the beta of Calendar. Let's hope it returns soon. The only saving grace that keeps me from re-evaluating this migration is the ability to subscribe to a read-only feed via iCal. At least I can get access to a copy of my calendar from my laptop or cell phone (via iSync) if Calendar is not available.
