Inconvenient facts behind an Inconvenient Truth

I was browsing through iTunes and saw that Paramount now has their movies appearing in iTunes. Last year I saw Al Gore's - An Inconvenient Truth. A very thought provoking film that makes you really think about the consequence of our actions on our environment. Now I am connecting the dots and coming up empty... Can someone explain:
  1. Paramount is distributing movies on iTunes
  2. An Inconvenient Truth is distributed by Paramount Classics
  3. Al Gore is an Apple board member
  4. Distributing a movie electronically has to be more ecologically friendly than manufacturing and shipping a DVD
So when are we going to see An Inconvenient Truth on iTunes?
