Last week I posted my displeasure at the new iGoogle home page re-design. It appears that I am not alone in thinking that the changes which Google's blog proclaims "were designed to make it more powerful." Ominously their announcement blog entry declares: "Not in the U.S.? Don't worry. We'll also be rolling out this updated version in other countries very soon." "You have been warned!"
May be the secret is that this is designed for developers and not the end user. Isn't a personalized home page about the user above everything else? Or am I missing something?
I think I am going to give NetVibes a run to see how it compares.
I agree I do not like the new side tabs. I want the old view back.
