Where did Ping.fm go?

Ping.fm is (was) a really useful service to post updates to multiple services. It was great for updating twitter and facebook, especially since Twitter has disabled their IM interface and I work in a company that blocks access to Facebook.

Consequently it was easy to access ping.fm (even using an iGoogle widget) and posting to both services. However, this afternoon I loaded iGoogle and saw that the ping.fm page is showing a "parked at godaddy.com" message.

Has anybody heard anything? Has ping gone truly dark or is it a simple server/DNS configuration problem?

I haven't heard anything but just saw that it was gone. It was there yesterday... weird.

You are the first blog post I have seen about this.

if this blog posting is correct, then ping.fm was screwed over by godaddy.
