#KPCTH Blogger Roundtable launch

Today I am back at Kaiser Permanente's impressive Center for Total Health in Washington DC. If you have not visited the center put it on your agenda for your next trip to DC. Phone ahead, in case they have a private event in progress but otherwise browse the center and see some great exhibits that demonstrate cutting edge health technology. Play with the Walking Wall - an impressive 80 foot long interactive display.

For more info about the center check out: http://www.centerfortotalhealth.org/

Today the Center For Total Health is launching it's very own Blog.

The event is being live tweeted at #kpcthblog

The tweet and comment stream from the roundtable was captured by CoverItLive

What should be on the blog?

Engage kids

Engage the Tech community

Let's schedule "Office Hours" or co-working time. Use eventbrite or meetup to allocate a limited number of free tickets.

We need to work out how to bridge the virtual and physical worlds.

Here was the audio montage. That @HollyPotter was referring to:

Many Voices on Total Health

Audio clip produced by Kaiser Permanente with interviews recorded by StoryCorps, a national nonprofit whose mission is to provide Americans of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of our lives. www.storycorps.org

We discussed creating 60 second video recordings of "What Total Health Means To Me" and posting to YouTube and incorporate in to the blog. Give everyone a voice in what Total Health means. Have a booth at the center for people to record these as they visit the center. It reinforces the message that the Center embraces feedback and contribution from outside.

The Blog wants to tackle the complex issue of Transparency.

The Blog needs to be written in plain english.

David Harlow would like case studies from the field of successes in patient centeredness.
